As the daughter of founder Dr. Richard J. DeSa, my memories of the company date to my teenage years, with my father writing the software code and designing the circuit cards and Mom wiring these electronics cards, answering the phones, and typing all correspondence on a manual typewriter.
My skill set includes writing, researching, and talking, so my niche has always been on the documentation, sales, and marketing side. I'm the one who hears your problem and takes it to my dad to ask "Can we solve this with our Product X?" And, then in conversation with him and our production staff, often encouraging development of Product XY or YZ to be the custom solution which is exactly perfect.
I love new things, new ideas, new solutions. And I am deeply grateful that so much of what we design and support is either repurposing the brilliantly made older Cary, HP, Aminco, or PE products, or producing our own equipment which is equally upgrade worthy. I hate waste and am very excited that we both save products from needless obsolescence and now have the CLARiTY line which reduce consumables use while allowing study of molecules in the environment they evolved in or that you want them in, clear or otherwise.

My husband, Walter, obtained his doctorate in the same department where Dad was once faculty ... pure coincidence, I promise!
