The CLARiTY 1 makes accurate AU/cm measurements at 254 nm on liquid food products with or without clarification or dilution, without error, in a small footprint technician-friendly form.
Nothing Escapes Measurement
The CLARiTY 1 for pasteurization confirmation (IC254) lets you measure undiluted and unfiltered milk, juices, and teas in any concentration in a flow-through cell for steady-state or continuous flow (dynamic) measurements.
The spectra at left were acquired at OLIS in spring 2019 for Dr. Sasges, showing the 290-240 nm spectra of whole, 2%, and skim milk captured in a few seconds with a CLARiTY CCD.
These data proved to us not only the value of the CLARiTY technology for working with high absorbance, turbid milk, but the justified a CLARiTY 1 for 254 nm.
The CLARiTY 1 is for laboratories which use 254 nm readings before, during, and after pasteurization to quantify the disinfection event.
For milk, most juices, and other high absorbance flowables, select from these five choices: (For dilute or low colored products, ask about our 2 mL test tube version.)
If one wavelength is not enough but scanning is too much, choose a CLARiTY 2 or CLARiTY 3 (e.g., 254 and 280 nm or e.g., 254, 280, 520 nm). All wavelengths 240-1100 nm are available to specify for the one, two, and three wavelength models.
